Torii - portal application ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ :Author: Kore Nordmann :Date: Fri, 16 Nov 2007 17:32:23 +0100 :Revision: 3 :Copyright: CC by-nc-sa :Description: Torii is a very simple portal application which easily allows writing and adding new modules. ======== New blog ======== :Description: Time to change the name of the project and move it to its own project page. New name ======== When you start developing some new project you just need, or had the inspiration for you always need some name. For me it is very seldom to have a good one ready from the very beginning, so that I normally end up with something like k. - in this case k.Portal. .. image:: /images/torii.png :alt: Torii logo :align: right Now, after some others also help to develop this application / portal framework, I decided it is time for a new name, because the "k.", which refers to my first name does not give them the credit they earn. I surfed the web for terms for portals which als fit as a name for a web application and ended up at "Torii", which I really like as a name - it even sounds a bit web-2.0-ish. New website =========== After deciding on a new name and seeing the large increasing amount of `styles`__ and `modules`__, I decided, that it is time to move the project to its own website, where we are able to present this stuff in a better way, then a personal homepage would allow. So here we are, completely separated from http://kore-nordmann.de, where the project page was hosted before. I hope you like the layout and find your way and everything you look for. Otherwise do not hesitate to use the contact possibilities mentioned on the `contacts`__ page. __ /styles.html __ /modules.html __ /documentation/community.html New blog ======== With a new website, there is also a new blog, where each of our developers may blog about the ongoing development, and - of course - about new releases. Update ====== Contact now has been replaced by the `community page`__. __ /documentation/community.html Trackbacks ========== Comments ======== - john at Thu, 24 Mar 2011 07:40:58 +0100 is a torii big - john at Thu, 24 Mar 2011 07:41:06 +0100 is a torii big - john at Thu, 24 Mar 2011 07:41:07 +0100 is a torii big - john at Thu, 24 Mar 2011 07:41:30 +0100 is a torii big
